Many nomads live in vans, buses, skoolies, or other large vehicles. It can be a pain to clear snow, but it is essential for safety when driving, and to keep your solar panels producing some power in the winter. An extendable snow broom is a (relatively) easy way to do this, and may allow you to clear most of the snow without the danger of getting up on your roof or balancing on a ladder. Get a snow broom that extends and can be taken apart for storage. A soft head is recommended instead of a metal head, and an aluminum body is recommended for weight savings and durability.
You may be able to store a roof rake outside your vehicle too, though this makes it vulnerable to theft. The best place depends on your vehicle, but attaching it to the bottom of your vehicle may work best if you have enough room and ground clearance. You could store the pole under your vehicle and the broom head inside your vehicle.
