For some people, getting good sleep can be a challenge when living in a vehicle, especially if you have a car or other small vehicle.
Things you can do to improve sleep:
- Ear plugs
- Eye mask
- White noise (from phone app, fans, or a dedicated noise device)
- Quiet parking location
- Parking where you aren't likely to be asked to move.
- Bed comfort
- Window coverings or tints for darkening and privacy
- Sleeping pills
- Soundproof vehicle choice
- Leveling your vehicle or your bed
- Keeping your living space in a good temperature range: keeping warm or keeping cool
For some people (not most) night-shift work can be better, because virtually no one will suspect you of sleeping in your vehicle during the day, and most nights your vehicle will be unoccupied while you're at work.
