Sink placement
Many van layouts place the sink right next to the sliding door, and the stove on the opposite wall. This sink location allows you to access the sink from outside the van, for example to use the faucet as an outdoor shower. However, this setup means your faucet is in the middle of your view any time your side door is open. When planning your build, consider whether you will more frequently be at your sink or stove with the door open. How often will you do either?
