Shower tents, sometimes called privacy tents, are tall, skinny tents with just enough room for one person to stand. They can be a useful addition to a camp site when living nomadically. They can be used with portable showers or portable toilets, or even as a small storage space to get extra gear out of your vehicle.
Many shower tents are "instant" tents that pop open and collapse down quickly. Some are designed more like conventional tents with rigid or flexible poles that must be assembled.
Using a shower tent for your toilet while camped is a great way to keep bathroom odors out of your vehicle. It's a portable temporary outhouse!
If you have a small vehicle or one without enough ceiling height to stand up, these tents work great for changing clothes.
