Loneliness

Loneliness can be a struggle while living nomadically, and is one of the common regrets that people didn't anticipate when deciding (or needing) to live life on the road. The transient nature of not having a fixed sticks-and-bricks home can make it difficult to form lasting friendships and relationships with fellow humans.

There are nomad community groups and gatherings in some places. They are more common in areas where van life is more common, such as the western United States. These groups can help alleviate lonely feelings and foster a sense of community.
