The most-commonly recommended app for nomads is iOverlander, which helps with finding parking spots for the night since the database is crowdsourced by users. However, it is not without its disadvantages too: spots posted on the app can become too popular and get closed or restricted, and some nomads complain that the free version is no longer adequate for their needs. The iOverlander 1 version is no longer available.
iOverlander is a free website and app created to help overlanders on the road find their next destination. Please help us improve our data by updating and adding places you have been.
You may find that browsing the map on the iOverlander web site meets your needs better than the app.
