Calculating your water needs is an important part of planning your build. It's a balance between how much water you use, how much water you can store, and how often you can resupply your water.
Nomads living minimally (no showers or slip-n-slides) will typically require 1 gallon or 4 liters of potable water every day for drinking, and an additional 1 gallon/4 liters for cleaning, hygiene, cooking, etc.
