Sometimes we get batteries for free or cheap. Sometimes we damage the batteries we already own. While fresh and healthy batteries are best, they are relatively expensive. Here are some thoughts on getting value out of compromised batteries:
- raise the Vabs setpoint to the max allowed by the battery manufacturer
- max the Absorption duration if possible, and
- run the living snot out of them. Run them below 50% if needed. It's one of those "your girlfriend is already pregnant" scenarios. :-)
