Temporary showers (also called pop-up showers or hidden showers) are a type of in-vehicle shower used by some nomads. They typically consist of a full-surround shower curtain that attaches to the ceiling of the vehicle with hooks or magnets. A shower pan may be hidden in the floor, inside a cabinet, or moved into place for each shower. This strategy gives many of the benefits of having a shower while reducing the significant disadvantage of amount of living space it takes up in your vehicle.

Shower curtain
The shower curtain is typically attached to the ceiling or other surfaces by permanent hooks or strong magnets, and dried and put away when not in use. Complete drying is necessary to prevent mold and mildew.
Shower pan
The shower pan may be permanent, built into the floor or cabinet and folding open for a shower.
The shower pan can be as simple as a small child's wading pool, a folding dog bath container, or a plastic bin. Since they lack a drain, after the shower these must be emptied somehow, which can be a challenge.
