T-slot framing

Nomad Life Wiki

T-slot framing, often known by the brand name 80-20 or simply 8020, is a system of extruded aluminum "profiles", connectors, and fasteners that feature a "T-slot" connector. T-slot framing is lighter than wood and modular, so you can build things like cabinets and shelving. However, it is relatively expensive and takes up a lot of room, which can be a significant downside in a van.
