Removable builds

From Nomad Life Wiki
A fully removable build inside a Toyota Sienna.

Removable builds (also known as no builds or a no-build camper) are a method of converting a vehicle for nomadic living temporarily. All equipment, furniture, and furnishings are fully removable whenever the vehicle is needed to be returned to its "factory" default configuration. This is commonly done for temporary use in car camping or for part time vanlife.

Removeable builds are sometimes done for leased or borrowed vehicles which must be returned to the lessor/lender intact.

Another common reason for a no build conversion is needing to move into a vehicle for financial or domestic reasons; since the move is hopefully a temporary one, no permanent changes are desired for the vehicle. This preserves its original use and resale value for the time when the involuntary nomad can return to a sticks and bricks residence.
