Trifold design I came up with… stays in my trunk year round, no need for removal as it doesn’t impede the back seats when not being use.
Here are the materials needed if you were interested in building your own, cost just over $100 CAD.
LUMBER
- 2x6 1/14’ - main frame - (1/40”, 3/38”)
- 1x4 1/10’ - inner frame - (1/42”, 2/35”)
- 2x3 1/8’ - legs - (2/18”)
- 1 sheet 3/4” plywood - platform - (40” x 42”, 2/20” x 42”)
OTHER
- Hinges x4
- 1/4’ Washer x2
- 1/4’ Nut x2
- 1/4’ Hanger bolt x2
- Storage bins x2
