In 2012, Hein & Kim shared their 2010 Sprinter van conversion in a Sprinter Van Forum. On that blog, Hein began simply by sharing tips & suggestions with other fellow van builders. He quickly grew that passion for sharing his knowledge. He started by sourcing Thinsulate to other van builders wanting high quality insulation, then manufacturing products to make DIY van conversions easier. Hein and Kim, are now proud owners of DIYvan and are dedicated to helping DIY & professional up-fitters with their van projects. Most days you can find Kim ensuring customers get the correct products while Hein is on the phone sharing ‘how to’ advice. On the other days and as many afternoons as they can manage, you will find Hein & Kim in the van looking for their next adventure whether it be skiing on Mt. Hood, enjoying the wonder of the Oregon Coast or kitesurfing on the Columbia River.
